However, because of hisrenormous talent, enthusiasm for music & the fortunate emergence ofrrecording tape while he was quite young, we have been left with a vastrrecorded legacy of tracks that fill out these six CDs. The songs rangerfrom his earliest recordings when he was 12 to 15 years old to demosrwith Bob Montgomery; from his earliest recordings with The Crickets &ra set of garage recordings to his first studio recordings for Decca inrNashville; from the Coral & Brunswick recordings & hits that made himrfamous to his heralded apartment tapes. There are 6 previouslyrunreleased tracks, including most of an August 1955 session &ranother 11 recordings previously unreleased in the U.S. Furthermore,rall of the original, locatable undubbed original recordings are here asrwell as all 57 of the overdubbed versions recorded both in New YorkrCity & Clovis months & even years after the day the musicrdied. All six discs are UNPLAYED & sit inside die-cut panels within artri-fold section at the back of a lavish 79-page hardback book with fullrtracklist insert.
